Rural roads

Cold Mix paving is an attractive option to traditional overlays.  Commonly we pave a layer of cold mix asphalt over the existing road, then allow some curing time (usually a couple of weeks).  Then we power sweep, and apply a chip seal.  This ultimately gives you a roadway that has a little more "flex" (necessary on many very old rural roads), with the benefit of a very long wearing chip-seal surface.
