RESIDENTIAL
PAVING
Nothing can quite compare to a driveway paved with the larger
"industrial/commercial"- sized equipment that we use to pave
your residential project. Many contractors pave with the
smaller-sized pavers- but believe us- bigger is better when it
comes to your driveway. Unless the physical properties restrict
access, we highly recommend using the biggest equipment available. The
reason? The longer wheelbase, wider equipment lays a smoother,
flatter surface- no exceptions. Smaller machines are susceptible to
"riding on the tires" of the trucks they are pushing, and
producing small waves in the mat because of their short length or
"wheelbase". Larger sized equipment stays planted on the
sub-base, and produces the extra-smooth surface you see on roadways.
We have a selection of pavers to use on your project- track machines for
extra-steep and new construction, and wheel pavers for overlay and flatter
projects. Both are road-class pavers. You WILL notice
the difference. Contact us for a

- New Paving Projects
- We recommend paving a first layer (called binder) during the
construction phase of your project. It provides you with a hard
surface during moving, and limits the "mud-factor" with
foot-traffic in and out of your residence. After your
landscaping and all other construction has been completed, a second
layer (called "surface") is applied. Paving your drive
this way ensures the absolutely flattest, smoothest, and longest
lasting drive you can get.
- Asphalt Overlays
- Most driveways can be overlayed to achieve a beautiful new
structural surface. Overlaying allows you to have a new driveway
without disturbing your base. See our overlay
page!
- Patching
- Not ready to tackle repairing or replacing your existing asphalt? We
also do asphalt patching to keep you up and running!
