 MASON SAND
is classified as a fine aggregate meeting ASTM C 144 for masonry mortar. It is a finer sand  than torpedo sand. It has very few and very small aggregate particles in it. It is used for mortar mixes, sand for golf courses, sand boxes for the kids, beach sand, sand volleyball courts, and as an underlayment for swimming pool liners to prevent punctures.
