 3" CLEAR LIMESTONE
Is exactly what the name implies.  Pieces of limestone where at least one dimension is 3".  It may contain a very small percentage of smaller pieces and fines. Usually used as a bottom course aggregate.  Offers excellent drainage properties. It is unparalleled for stabilizing softer subgrades, and for supporting driveways, roads, and parking lots.  Also used for erosion control.

When constructing a new residence, 3" clear limestone fulfills Walworth Counties' erosion control requirement for initial access roadways/driveways as part of Walworth Counties' erosion control permit.
